Colleen Trotter

Colleen Trotter, age 96, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on February 4, 1928 to Ralph and Julia Oliver (nee Dinan).

Colleen was married to her husband, the late William Gene Trotter, who passed in 2013. Together they had three boys. She and her husband enjoyed traveling together and with their children. They traveled to many places including Europe and Japan. They loved to go on cruises and especially treasured times spent at their lake house at Lake of the Ozarks. Above all else, Colleen cherished any moment she was able to spend with her family.

Colleen is survived by her sons, William Gene Trotter Jr., and Timothy (Karen) Trotter; her grandchildren, Angela (Scott) Solomon, Amanda (Daniel) Kurdys, Abigail (Michael) Sweeney, Alexandra Trotter, and Timothy Trotter; her great-grandchildren, Jack Solomon, Andrew Solomon, Maria Kurdys, Nina Kurdys, Theresa Kurdys, Sloan Sweeney, and Michael Sweeney; her sisters, Kay Rasmussen, and Joan Franklin. She is survived by many other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Gene Trotter; her father, Ralph Oliver; her mother, Julia Oliver; her son, Bradley Ralph Trotter; her great-grandson, Joseph Kurdys; her brothers, Jack Oliver and Ralph Oliver; her sisters, Patricia Shockley, Janet Scott, Jeanne Borders, and Carol Ferris.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 6:30 pm on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Mass will take place at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 1355 Motherhead Rd, Saint Charles, MO 63304 . Burial will follow mass at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St Louis.
