Cornelius "Neal" O'Connell Dalton, age 69, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Monday, July 16, 2018 in St. Charles, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 24, 1949 to Cornelius and Jeanette Dalton (nee Killoren).

Cornelius is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Valerie Dalton of Saint Charles, MO, son: Neal J (Jan) Dalton, son: Kevin J (Holly) Dalton, daughter: Stephanie J (Jason Boock) Dalton, son: Bob J (Jody) Dalton, son: Tom J (Molly) Dalton, 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way, 5 brothers and 2 sisters and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Cornelius J Dalton; mother: Jeanette M Dalton and one brother: Frank Dalton.

Neal was a real gearhead. He enjoyed drag racing, going to car shows, old movies and Motown . He loved to rebuild antique cars with his family. Neal was very involved with his children and grandchildren's activities. You could always find him hanging out at the shop with family and good friends. Neal was a real romantic, he just celebrated 50 years marriage with his wife: Valerie. He was always listening to and singing her love songs. Everyone loved him and all of the funny jokes and stories that he told. Neal was a member of the Knights of Columbus and IEC of St. Louis.

Mass will be at 10:00 am Friday, July 20, 2018 at Sts. Joachim and Ann Church with Father Patrick Ryan officiating. Visitation will take place also at the church starting at 9:00 am. In lieu of flowers please make memorial donations to the Siteman Cancer Center - Director's Discovery Fund 7425 Forsyth Blvd St. Louis MO 63105
