Cornilous Louis Heflin

Cornilous "Sonny" Louis Heflin, age 82, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017 in Chesterfield, Missouri. He was born in Dover, Tennessee on February 2, 1934 to Gilbert and Matlie Heflin (nee Crockerall).
Sonny joined the US Navy, and was enlisted from 1952-1961. He was a member of VFW Post 1300 Greenville, IL and American Legion Post 1994 Keysport, IL.
He is survived by his Daughter, Kathy (Michael) Marlo of Wentzville, MO; grandchildren Ashley Woehrmann, David (Kerri) Marlo, Chad (Tari) Heflin and Bobbi (Jason) Herron; great-grandchildren Jake and Mason Marlo and Madison, Shade and Dominic Heflin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Michael L. Heflin.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 pm Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Pastor Brad Carriger officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm just prior to services. Interment with Military Honors will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
