Curtis was an Army veteran, a graduate of the FBI Academy and a respected Police Captain for the City of Richmond Heights retiring in 1994. He always extended a helping hand to those in need and their home was a safe haven for family and friends. Curtis was an avid outdoorsman and loved to go camping , hunting, and fishing.
He was a kind and loving husband and is survived by his wife, Tessie B. Wild (nee Cox) of 64 years; daughters, Vivian M. Wild, and Laurie J. Wild Harp (Marty).
He was an amazing father to daughters Vivian and Laurie. He was loved and admired by four grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Curtis is at peace and is reunited with his parents Jacob and Frances Wild, his sister Marlene Dickmann, and his brother Jerome Wild who passed before him.
The family privately said their goodbyes at his bedside.
