Cynthia Ann Edelen

April 1, 1947 — February 15, 2025

Bland, Missouri

Cynthia Ann Edelen, affectionately known as Cindy, departed this world on February 15, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on April 1, 1947, Cindy brought boundless love and joy to those fortunate enough to know her. As a dedicated beautician for over 30 years, she touched the lives of many through her artistry and warmth, leaving lasting impressions that went far beyond the salon chair.

Cindy had a vibrant personality, filled with an unyielding affection for her beloved dogs and cats, as well as a deep-seated passion for gardening. Her home was a sanctuary for all things green and furry, reflecting her nurturing spirit and her unwavering commitment to caring for her furbabies. Whether she was tending to her plants or playing with her pets, Cindy's heart was always full, and her laughter echoed in the hearts of those around her.

She is survived by her cherished children, Chris McCulloch and Gary "Zach" Edelen, who will continue to carry forward her legacy of love and kindness. Cindy was also a proud grandmother to Todd Edelen, Tyler Travelstead, Briahna (Chad) Musteen, and Bradie Edelen. The joy she felt for her family extended into the hearts of her several great-grandchildren, each of whom brought immense happiness into her life.

Cindy's familial ties also reached to her cousins, Barb and Ken Martin, Jim Reigel, John Reigel, and Joe Reigel, with whom she shared countless memories and heartfelt moments.

Cindy also enjoyed a rich love for her Church family at Pin Oak Baptist Church and loved each of them.

Though she now joins her beloved husband, Charley "Chuck" Edelen, as well as her cherished parents, Tom and Lucille Cribben, the love she cultivated during her time on earth will continue to bloom in the hearts of those she has left behind.

Cindy's gentle spirit, her devotion to her family, her passion for her work, and her love for the creatures who filled her life will remain a cherished memory to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and remembered for the light she brought into our lives.
