You might know him as Dad, Danny, Santa Dan or Papa Kelly. Among his many interests were his family, cooking, his yard and giving back to the community. Admired by anyone who knew him from listening to his stories from his old stomping grounds in Baden, Missouri, Hawaii in the Marine Corp. Coaching soccer or grabbing a bud light at Vetta. He was truly loved by many and stranger to no one. He will be greatly missed.
Danny had booked multiple Santa gigs every year and all the money he would earn would be used to buy canned goods for the local food pantry at Jochamin & Ann church. He was heavily involved in his grandkids sports, assisting with getting them to practices and cheering them on at their games. He always took the time to teach the grandkids whatever he wanted to teach them such as chopping down trees on the common ground. The grandkids and his three kids and family will remember these times forever.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
