Daniel Jerome Switzer, age 53, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on July 20, 1969 to Paul and Carol Switzer (nee Byrn).
Dan was a beloved father, son, brother, and friend to many. He had an infectious smile that lit up any room he entered. He had a love for travel and visited many beautiful places, and although he left us unexpectedly, he lived a very full life and had many great experiences during his time here with us. He will be dearly remembered and missed by many.
Dan is survived by his son, Chase Switzer; his father, Paul (Donna) Switzer Sr.; his mother, Carol Koeller and two brothers, Alexander "AJ" Switzer, and Nick (Sarah) Switzer.
A celebration of life will take place at Classics Sports Bar on Sunday December 4th from 2:00pm-7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Backstoppers, who have given support to Dan's mother, Carol, for decades after her husband, Sergeant Kenneth J. Koeller of the Jennings, MO Police Dept. was killed in the line of duty.
