Darlene Joy Burkett

Darlene "Dolly" Joy Burkett, age 82, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Berkeley, Missouri on October 12, 1935 to Earl and Mildred Lewis (nee: Canoy).
Darlene was a Homemaker for many years, and a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was married to Bill G. Burkett for 66 years.

Darlene is survived by her loving children, Sindy L. (David) Cardinale, Suzan C. (Thomas) Farr, Dan R. (Debra) Burkett, Jacque L. Cannon, cherished Grandmother to Matthew Cardinale, Gena (John) Lammering, Kate (Jason) Durham, Robert (Amber) Farr, Michael Farr, Amee Burkett, Richard Burkett, Kimberly Cannon, Kristine (Eric Weitekenper) Cannon, Adored Great Grandmother to Tyler Cardinale, Asher Lammering, Alexandria Durham, Dana Creswell, Shane Weitekenper, loving Sister to Ethel Albert, Ron (Mickey) Lewis, Tim (Jean) Lewis. She was truly loved and will be missed by a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Earl Lewis; Mother, Mildred Lewis; Husband, Bill G Burkett; Two Brothers, Earl Lewis, Jr., and Ken Lewis

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, June 19, 2018 at NewComer Funeral, Cremations, & Receptions at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376.

Funeral Ceremony will be 10:00 am Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Harvester Christian Church, 2950 Kings Crossing, St. Charles, MO 63303.

Interment at Bellerive Cemetery, 740 N. Mason Road, Creve Coeur, MO 63141

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Harvester Christian Church or Humane Society in honor of Darlene.
