David M Ely, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 28, 1956 to Richard and Dorothy Ely (nee Spencer).
Dave was an outdoors type of person who enjoyed drag racing, boat racing, four wheeling, motorcycling, and boating.
He was a member of the A Dock boat Club and enjoyed driving his Chevy pickup truck and doing burnouts in it.
Most of all Dave loved his family time, especially vacationing with family and friends, but becoming a PawPaw was his greatest adventure of all.
Dave is survived by his Wife, Mary B Ely, Sister, Gail Corey, Son, Ryan (Megan) Ely, Granddaughter, Kinsley Ely and he will be dearly missed by Nieces and Nephews and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Richard Ely and Mother, Dorothy Ely.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday August 5, 2019.
Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Monday, August 5, 2019.
