David Joseph Bouchard, age 72, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, November 11, 2019.
He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on May 3, 1947 to William and Loretta Bouchard (nee Straton).
David was an engineer for 36 years and belonged to the 22nd Infantry Regiment Society. He was a Purple Heart recipient and was awarded 2 Bronze stars for his service in the Vietnam War. He was a friendly person who loved helping other people.
David was married to his wife Beverly for 50 years and most of all he was a very devoted husband, father, and grand-pa.
David is survived by his Wife, Beverly Bouchard, Sister, Linda (Jim) Benedict, Sister, Mary Bouchard, Son, David (Karen DeLuca) Bouchard, II, Son, Chad Bouchard, Daughter, Tiffany (Bryan) Smith, Grandson, Jacob Drum, Granddaughters, Allison Smith, and Avery Smith, Grandson, Luke Bouchard and he will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, William Bouchard; Mother, Loretta Bouchard; Two Brothers, Ed Bouchard, and Ronald (Pam) Bouchard; Three Sisters, Janice (Joe) Schichtel, Jean Meade, and Caroline (Roy) Foster.
A Celebration of his life will be held from 3 pm until 7 pm on Sunday December 8, 2019 at the George F. Gould Building 1875 Muegge Rd. St. Charles, Mo. 63303.
Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Monday December 9, 2019 at 12:30 pm.
