David Curtis Lewis

David Curtis Lewis, age 60, of Marthasville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2021. He was born in Alton, Illinois on Dec. 12, 1960, to Donald and Sally Lewis (nee Richey). David was married to Katherine Lewis for 40 cherished years.
As a member of the Assembly of God Church, David's greatest loves were God and his family. He enjoyed sharing his time and talents with his kids and grandkids by hunting, fishing, bowling and just being outside on the farm and in the woods. His love of sports of all kinds was shared as he coached and umpired for Wright City Parks Department and cheered on his many teams, especially the Cardinals, during every season. His ideal day would end at a bonfire with music surrounded by family laughing, loving, and just being together.

David is survived by his Wife, Katherine M. Lewis; Brother, Mark A. (Donna) Lewis; Four Sons: Christopher David (Karen) Lewis, Matthew Levi (Beth) Lewis, Joshua Robert (Melissa) Lewis; and Elijah James (Abby) Lewis; and One Daughter, Katherine Nicole Lewis. Five Granddaughters: Nevaeh Rae Lewis, Lucy Ann Lewis, Amelia Katherine Lewis, Wren Ann Lewis, and Ellora Mae Lewis, Three Grandsons: Levi Matthew Lewis, Logan Christopher Lewis, and Robert David Lewis. His "Brother", Daniel Layton, Mother-in-Law, Katherine E. Hawk, and Sister-in-Law, Janet M. (Greg) Rhoden. He will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Donald Levi Lewis; Mother, Sally M. Lewis; and Father-in-Law, Robert A. Hawk.

Visitation will be held from 4 pm until 8 pm on Monday, May 17, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations and Funerals.
Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at Newcomer Chapel.
Interment at 1pm on House Family Farm.
