David Orcino

David Eugene Orcino, 64, passed away on Sunday June 23, 2024. He was born to the late Robert and Dixie (Irvin) Orcino in California on August 13, 1959. He grew up and spent most his life in St. Louis, St Charles, and Warren counties of Missouri 

Dave graduated from Hazelwood West High School in 1977. He worked in construction his whole life, with the last 35 years spent as painter, foreman and safety officer on large construction projects for Herbster-Hellweg Painting Co. He was also an owner at JDL Painting. He took much pride in his work and was well respected.

Dave was a talented singer, song writer and musician, playing the guitar for over 50 years. Many have been fortunate to hear him sing and play both in bands and around the campfire with the Black River Junkies.

Dave was also an avid and knowledgeable sports fan and enjoyed playing golf. He loved riding his Harley in California, had many beloved dogs, and was a dog advocate. 

Dave never met a stranger and would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be dearly missed by all.

Dave is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jackie (Peterson) Orcino, son Daniel Orcino, step daughter Stephanie Young, six grandchildren (Autumn, Scarlett, Connor, Cooper, Oliver, Ezra). He is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Dixie Orcino. He leaves behind brothers Steve and Mike Boston, sister Sue Garavaglia, brother Jeff (Diane) Orcino, brother Joe ( Lauren) Orcino, like a brother Kenny (Chris) Percy. He deeply loved his entire extended family, Orcino niece Natalie and nephews Matt and Nick and their families, Peterson family members, and many many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday July 27, 2024 starting at 2:00 pm. Located at VFW Post 2866, 66 VFW Memorial Lane, St Charles, MO 63303
