Dawn Renee Lauer, age 51, of Federal Way, Washington passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021. She was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on March 9, 1969 to Don and Carolyn Lauer (nee Witt).
From the very beginning Dawn was kindhearted and cared for others. She was happiest with friends. Whether it was a slumber party or a backyard BBQ, you would always find her with a smile on her face. Dawn enjoyed being outside. Whether fishing at our lake property, hanging at the beach, playing with her dogs, or on the back of a motorcycle with the wind in her hair. Dawn was very spiritual and read her bible daily. She kept many journals of her favorite scriptures. She leaned on her Christian upbringing and faith to power through her trials and tribulations. No matter what life threw at her, she always made time to listen and help. She was a protector of those who could not protect themselves.
Dawn is survived by her father, Don Edward Lauer, her mother, Carolyn Sue Lauer, her siblings, Susan Paige Lauer, and Ryan Christopher Lauer; her nephew, Jordan Dean (Courtney) Lauer; and her nieces, Emery Evelyn Lauer, and Noelani Moon Lauer. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Don Arnold Lauer; her paternal grandmother, Dora Mae Lauer; her maternal grandfather, Stanley Owen Witt; her maternal grandmother, Celia Frances Witt; and her brother, David Kevin Lauer.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm with a service to follow at 7:00 pm both at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
