Deborah "Debbie" J. Hough (Jackson) passed away peacefully on Monday, May 11, 2020 at home surrounded by loved ones.

Debbie is survived by her father; her husband, Brent Hough; her daughters, Angela Deabler (Shannon) and Lisa Deabler; grandson, Aiden Davis; her brothers Wayne Jackson (Kathy) and Randy Jackson (Kerry); and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and sister, Laura Jackson.

Born March 8, 1955, Debbie was the oldest daughter born to Ronald and Lois Jackson. Debbie worked hard through the years to provide for her two daughters and put herself through college to fulfill her life long dream of becoming a registered nurse. She graduated in 1988 from Maryville University with her degree in nursing and worked at various St. Louis area hospitals through her career.

Debbie was a fun-loving, devoted wife and mother who enjoyed family gatherings, fishing, gardening, classic movies and various types of music. She was known for her creativity in a wide assortment of craft projects and beautiful creations she gave as gifts. She had a huge heart for all types of animals and served as a foster for many pets over the years as well as providing many animals a safe and loving home.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters.
