Debra Ann Doering, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, and sister passed away peacefully on September 20 2024, in St. Charles, Missouri, surrounded by her loving family. Born on April 20, 1960, in Ferguson, Missouri, Debra lived a life filled with joy, dedication, and warmth. A proud graduate of McClure High School's class of 1978, she went on to devote 35 years of her life to the United States Postal Service, where her commitment and hard work were deeply appreciated by her colleagues and the community.
Debra's vibrant personality was a beacon of light for those who knew her. Outgoing, friendly, and personable, she welcomed everyone with open arms. She cherished the simple joys of life, delighting in the spirit of Christmas and the magic of decorating for the holidays. Her love for gardening brought beauty into her home, while her passion for travel enriched her life, allowing her to create cherished memories with her husband, Jeff, and their dear friends.
A devoted fan of Cardinals baseball, Debra found joy in cheering for her favorite team. However, her true pride lay in her family. As a loving mother to Michael (Ashley) Hibbeler, Jamie Hibbeler, Amber (Ryan) Meczkowski, and Brent Doering, she poured her heart into raising her children and instilled in them the same love and values she held dear. Her joy grew exponentially as she became a cherished grandmother to Audrey Hibbeler, Camden Hibbeler, Max Meczkowski, Alice Meczkowski, and Tony Meczkowski. She eagerly attended their sporting events, ensuring they felt supported and loved in all their endeavors.
Debra is survived by her devoted husband, Jeffrey Doering, and her children and grandchildren, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She also leaves behind her loving siblings: Diane Pitti, Bill (Barb) Jenkins, Dave (Donna) Jenkins, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom adored her.
Though she has been reunited with her late parents, George and Mary Jenkins, her sister, Donna Jenkins, and her brother-in-law, Bill Pitti, her legacy of love will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched. Debra Ann Doering will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever resonate in the joyous memories shared with family and friends.
