Delores Lorraine Wilson

February 16, 1944 — August 31, 2019

Delores Lorraine Wilson, age 75, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2019. She was born in St Louis, Missouri on February 16, 1944 to Steven and Lorraine Semplowski (nee Loeffel).

Mom was the type of person that LOVED unconditionally and never passed judgement on anyone. Never did it surprise you to see her give to anyone she felt needed something more than she did and would never expect anything in return, even if they weren't family.
Mom spent 57 years alongside her "ELVIS" (Marv) always by his side and not as a groupie but as his #1 Fan. Never missing a gig, Long Island Dee could drink with the best of them and dance the "Jitterbug" better than ALL of them. Then in the blink of an eye turn into "Mom Mode" and cook one of the meanest breakfasts you could ever have the very next morning, with a smile on her face, laughing and joking about the night before. You see, Mom loved cooking for family and friends… if you were lucky enough to have had her famous potato salad, her sausage/cheese rye bread bites or her fried potatoes, then you know what we're talkin about. Enough said. Right?
No one could ever say a bad word about Mom….oh wait…. Unless your line of employment included a Customer Service Rep at Walmart or JC Penney OR if you've ever tried to run off with her home grown tomaters. She's laughing at us all right now.
Bottom line is that she loved to spoil her family, each of them in her own way. She was known as "MOM" to everyone not just her own. You see, whether her kids were good or bad it never really mattered… she'd give what she had. If the bank balance was high or the bank balance was low, believe it or not, we'd never know, because with or without material stuff Momma Dee Dee's love was ALWAYS enough.
It was her time to fly, so we'll try not to cry, from the words of Kid Rock…
"Only God knows why"
Rip Momma… till we meet in heaven. We love you and miss you!

Delores is survived by her husband, Marvin Wilson of Saint Peters, MO, daughters, Donna Dee Bridges, and Sandra Lynn Wilson-Beard, son, Robert (Bobby) Steven Wilson, step-daughters, Debra Lynn Pohlmann, and Patricia Ann Tallevast, eight grandchildren: Kyle Pohlmann, Kayla White, Larry LaRose, Randy Wynn, Zachary Tallevast, KoreyTallevast, Carrie Wilson, Bailey Wilson, and a host of other family members and friends.
