Dempsey M. Eagan, age 94, of Dardenne Prairie, Missouri passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 in Saint Albans, Missouri. He was born in Ironton, Missouri on June 30, 1928 to Doc and Julia Shaver (nee Hurst).
Dempsey is survived by his daughter, Linda (Ed) Neel; granddaughters, Brittany Todd and Jennifer (Matt) Sohn; grandson, Trey Laker; great-grandsons, Alex Todd, Barrett Sohn, and Jadon Sohn; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Eagan; daughter, Norma (the late Jack) Powers; father, Doc Shaver; mother, Julia Shaver; sister, Ruth; and brothers, Alfred, Raymond, and Sonny.
Memorial contributions may be made in Dempsey's honor to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
