Denise Kay Haberkorn

Denise Kay Haberkorn, 75, of St. Charles, MO passed away on February 21, 2024 at her daughter's house in St. Petersburg, FL. Denise was born on March 27, 1948 to James Graydon and Esther (Shell) Berry in Fairbury, IL. She graduated from Chatsworth High School in 1966.
Denise grew up on a farm in Chatsworth, IL, but most of her life was spent in St. Charles, MO with her high school sweetheart and husband of 56 years, Alan Haberkorn. They were parents to Kim Haberkorn, Scott (Amy) Haberkorn, and Cory Haberkorn. They relocated to St. Petersburg, FL in 2020.
Denise enjoyed spending time with family, talking to her sister Renee on the phone, going out to restaurants, watching St. Louis Cardinals baseball, football games, crocheting, and watching the Game Show Network while drinking a "caffeine-free fountain soda!" She enjoyed sewing and making clothes for her children when they were younger. She was so proud to be a grandmother and great-grandmother and bragged daily about the new pictures she received on her digital frame!
Sadly, Denise was predeceased by her husband, Alan, and her daughter-in-law, Amy. Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Kim; sons, Scott and Cory; grandchildren, Samantha, Toni (Michael), Christopher, and Haley; great-grandchildren, Hallie, Kacin, and Reagan; her sister, Renee (Dave) Enderli of Pontiac, IL; her brothers, Jim (Kay) Berry of Lexington, IL, Mike (Cinda) Berry of Arcola, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
