Dennis David Everitt, age 71, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 29, 1948 to Dedrich and Eloise Everitt (nee Worley).
Dennis was a volunteer at the American Red Cross Disaster relief, St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Services, an election judge/ poll volunteer and a retired educational psychologist who worked with special needs children. Dennis also retired from General Motors after 30 years of service.
Dennis enjoyed camping, listening to music and the ocean. He also loved history, writing, westerns and was passionate about politics.
He liked to watch sports and was an avid Cardinal, Mizzou, and Blues fan.
Dennis is survived by his Son, Jamieson D (Janelle) Everitt, Son, Jason C. Everitt, Son, Jacob G. (Emilie) Everitt, Grandson, Evan C. (Amanda) Everitt, Grandson, Colin B. Everitt, Grandson, Blake D. (Alina) Everitt, Granddaughter, Brittany D. Everitt, Granddaughter, Hailie R. Everitt, Grandson, Nicholas Martin of Tomah, WI, Granddaughter, Lilith A. Everitt, Great-Grandson, Theodore Everitt, Great-Granddaughter, Bryar Rose Everitt, Nephew, Dan (Patricia) Everitt, Niece, Julie Ann (Dean) Sentman and he will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Dedrich Daniel Everitt; Mother, Eloise Joy Everitt; Sister, Sherry Mims; and Brother, Dederick D. (Yvonne) Everitt.
