Dennis G. Murphy

Dennis George Murphy, age 66, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 in Memphis, Tenn. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 18, 1957 to David and Bernadine Murphy (nee Kreitler). He was married to Christina Murphy for 43 years. Dennis was an Electrical Superintendent at Alberici Constructors for 12 years. He worked as an electrician for 40 years and was a member of IBEW Local 1.

Dennis is survived by his Wife, Christina Murphy; Two Daughters, Meg (Cliff) Judy, Amanda Murphy; Five grandchildren, Cooper Mast, Riley Buckowitz, Liam Buckowitz, Clara Judy, Declan Judy; Three Brothers, Jim (Marilyn) Murphy, Tim (Marie) Murphy, Dan (Vickie) Murphy; Two Sisters, Peggy (Ron) Myers, Karen (Joe) Santel; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, David Murphy, Jr.; and Mother, Bernadine Murphy.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at West County Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017. A memorial mass will be held the following morning at 10am at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Alton, Ill. with Father Leland Thorpe celebrating.
