Dennis Fay Smith, age 66, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 30th, 2021.
He took his last breath in the comfort of his own home with both of his daughters by his side.
He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 18th, 1954, to Fay and Margie Smith (Wetzel).
He grew up in Jennings, Mo where he met the love of his life, Joan, and married her on September 26th, 1980. He worked as a diesel Mechanic after high school for nearly 40 years until he retired in 2014.
Dennis had a passion for cooking and could make a mean barbeque. He loved a good cigar and loved riding his motorcycles even more. He also enjoyed farming and hunting on his land, collecting guns, and being outdoors.
Most of all, Dennis loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandson.
Dennis is survived by his daughters; Maggie and Kelly smith, Brother In-law; Richard (Jeanne)Hoefli, Mother; Margie smith, and grandson; Hendrix smith. He will be missed dearly by a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joan Smith; father, Fay smith; and brother, Keith smith.
Visitation will be held from 4:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, September 7th, 2021, at Newcomer cremations and funerals in St. Peters.
Funeral Ceremony will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, September 8th, 2021.
