Derek Goodrich

Derek Goodrich, age 52, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, May 19, 2024. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on July 8, 1971.

Derek was one of a kind. He worked as a laborer for Laborers Union 660 in Saint Charles since high school. He always had a smile on his face and would brighten up someone's day with his charm and personality. Derek enjoyed spending time out in the woods, hunting and fishing, especially at his grandmother and grandfather's farm in Hermann. Derek was always the life of the party and entertained with his singing and his humorous personality. He will be greatly missed by many family members and friends.

Derek is survived by his wife, Karon Goodrich; his sons, Jacob Goodrich, and Wesley Goodrich; his stepson, Joseph (Marcie) Yates; his stepdaughter, Ana (Dominique) Stephenson; his grandchildren, Joseph Yates Jr., William Yates, Jack Yates, Elaina Herren, Landon Herren, and Layla Stephenson; his father, Dennis (Annette) Goodrich; his brother, Shawn Angleton; and his sister, Shannon Goodrich.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Baue (nee Highfill).

Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm with a funeral ceremony to follow at 3:00 pm, all on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376.
