Diana Lynn Mann, age 64, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022 in Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born in Peoria, Illinois on October 23, 1957 to Harry and Julia Mann (nee Nette Buhs).
Diana was a feisty little firecracker. Stubborn and bullheaded but was always there for people, doing what she could to help brighten there day even if it was just a simple phone call. She is what we would call jack of all trades from customer service, housekeeping, to manufacturing, but the one fulfillment she did most of her life was taking care of people as a CNA for 20+ years. If there was one thing, she loved more than her family, morning/evening coffee and cigarette, it was the passionate work she did while taking care of others. She had a forgiving heart even if people didn't deserve it. She always told us kids, "You don't have to forget but, in your heart, must forgive those who do you wrong." She loved sitting n reading her Bible and going and checking on old clients she once cared for. It would be wrong to say that she lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how much pain she was in, she was always determined to keep going. When anyone else would have broken, Diana stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looked like. There was no quit in Diana. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight. Her strength lives on throughout her everlasting families' memories. She will be missed by all especially her family and her grandkids who knew her by Nanny aka Nanny Nanny Poo Poo.
She was preceded in death by her mom and dad her grandparents and two brothers Claude Youngren, Richard Mann
Diana is survived by her children, Luster R. Barker (Martine Pament), Dawn D. Barker (Brian Greene), and James L.
