Diane Hitt

Diane Hitt, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024, on her 71st birthday. Diane was born on November 3, 1953, and graduated from Lindbergh High School. Throughout her life, she exemplified, strength, resilience, and selflessness. Her vibrant personality and loving nature left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path.

Diane's proudest accomplishment was her family. She worked diligently to provide her two daughters, Jeri and Melanie, with the best possible childhood. She took immense pride in her grandchildren, Cameron, Lucas, and Jewel, cherishing the time spent with them and celebrating their achievements.

Diane is survived by her two daughters, Jeri (Tim) Leeker, and Melanie Hitt (Wesley Skidmore); grandchildren, Cameron Leeker, Lucas Roettger, Jewel Schade and Mason Leeker (deceased), brother William Hertel, her niece and nephews; and many other family members and friends, all of whom will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Muriel and Everett Dickens; and her sister, Linda Wiley.

A visitation to honor Diane's memory will be held on November 7, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:30 PM. Both events will take place at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63376.

Diane's legacy of love and strength will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
