Diane Homewood

Diane Homewood (née Trochta) passed away on March 11, 2025, in St. Charles, Missouri, at the age of 79. Born on June 11, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri, Diane dedicated much of her life to education, working for decades as a paraprofessional in the Francis Howell School District.

Diane is survived by her loving partner, Dave Baldwin; her sister, Debbie Trochta and her partner Don; her children, Michelle Lees and her husband Brian Lees, Megan Bryant and her husband Gene Bryant, and Tom Baldwin and his wife Amy Baldwin. Diane was also a cherished grandparent to Gabby Kershman and her partner Tony Verzino, and John Kershman II. She was preceded in death by her son Mike Homewood and her parents, Joseph and Jeanette Trochta.

Beyond her career in education, Diane found joy in watching classic movies, a pastime that brought her comfort and nostalgia throughout the years.

Diane’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. May her legacy bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

A celebration of life has been scheduled for Saturday, June 7th at her home. Future details will be provided. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association.
