Dolores Byrnes (Callender) was born on July 21, 1930, in Pevely, Missouri to Frank E. and Annabelle (Sanders) Callender. She was the eldest of 10 children. She moved to Illinois in grade school and then later moved to St. Peters, MO. where she lived until her passing on January 7, 2023.
Dolores married Carl E. Byrnes (Johnson) in 1952. Dolores and Carl had 2 children, Marcia A. Rodriguez of St. Peters, MO and Carl E. Byrnes, Jr. of Raleigh, NC.
Dolores worked as a sales coordinator Koken Manuafacturing Company -Belmont Medical for over 30 years. She retired and spent time with her grandchild, Andrea N. Pernicka of Colorado and her 2 great grandchildren, Brice M. Pernicka and Brianna L. Pernicka of Colorado.
Dolores loved classical music, musicals, jewelry, and Baskins Robbins ice cream.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Carl E. Byrnes in 1985 and her siblings Raymond Callender, Martha Callender, Paul Callender, George Callender, Jeanette Wilkinson, and Barbara Armour.
She is survived by Carl M. Callender of FL, Garry G. Callender of NJ and Michael Callender of St. Louis.
