Dolores Ilene Hartmann

Dolores Ilene Hartmann age 98, of Florissant, Missouri passed away October 12, 2018.
Hello, my name is Dolores Hartmann. I was born on January 16, 1920 in Iowa to Agnus and George Huss. I was my parents only child. We lived in Texas for a few years before moving to St Louis, Missouri, which we made our home. I belong to the United Church of Christ. I graduated from Maplewood High School in 1938 and then went on to attend college. After college I went to work for Famous Barr and then later worked for the American Can Company. I married my wonderful husband Theodore in 1949 and together we had five children. I absolutely loved being a stay at home mom and raising my beautiful children. I love spending time with my kids as well as my grandchildren, my great grandchildren and my great-great grandchild. I was also very active in my church. I enjoy dancing, reading, watching movies, music, taking walks and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Theodore Hartmann, a daughter Diane Exendine, and a son-in-law Louie Meadows. She is survived by her children: John and Ann Hartmann, Robert and Linda Hartmann, Debra Meadows and Janice and Robert Douthit, 8 grandchildren: Stacey, Robert, Larry, Jeremy, Michelle, Alicea, Ashley and Robert, several great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild and a son-in-law Mike Exendine.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr St Peters, MO. Funeral service wil be Wednesday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Bellerive Garden Cemetery St Louis, MO.
