Don Szalanski, age 83, of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.
He was born in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania on November 25, 1936 to Anthony and Sophie Szalanski (nee Brezinski).
Don was married to Ruth Szalanski for 61 cherished years. He belonged to the Lake St. Louis Historical Society and the Lion's Club.
He also enjoyed painting, art, photography, traveling, and golf.
Don is survived by his Wife, Ruth Y Szalanski, Brother, Robert (Rosa) Szalanski, Son, David Szalanski, Daughter, Pamela (Tim) Palitzsch, Grandson, Tyler (Jamie) Palitzsch, Granddaughter, Devan Palitzsch, Grandson, Skyler (Jasmine) Szalanski, Great-Granddaughter, Audrey Palitzsch, Great-Grandson, Johnny Palitzsch, Great-Grandson, Will Ford, Brother-In-Law, Bob (Geraldine) Reeves, Niece, Jennifer (Danny) Kerekes, Niece, Robin Szalanski, Nephew, Paul Szalanski and he will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Anthony Donald Szalanski; Mother, Sophie Szalanski; Father-In-law, Charles Reeves; and Mother-In-Law, Opal Reeves.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
