Donald Gene Timmons

Donald Gene Timmons, 86, of St. Peters, MO passed away on Monday, August 30, 2021 in St. Peters, MO. Donald was born in Metropolis, Illinois on March 19, 1935 to Willard and Rebecca Timmons (nee Balsman).

He was married to Betty Timmons (Nicks) and retired from General Motors in 1983.

Donald loved driving and working on Corvettes, and traveling to Bloomington, IL to participate in swap meets at car shows. He kept busy working in his yard, growing upside down tomatoes, and feeding the squirrels and birds. He also enjoyed playing scratchers and hitting the slots. But most of all, Donald loved to spend time with his family, especially his grand-children and great-grandchildren.

Donald is survived by his Wife, Betty Timmons of St. Peters, MO; Daughter; Rebecca House; Son, Carey Timmons; Daughter, Deb (Leo) Stuckey; Daughter, Gina Franks, Daughter, Alisa (Ron) Farrell; Son, Jeff Timmons, Son, Kenny (Stephanie) Timmons; fifteen grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; Sister, Carolyn Timmons; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father, Willard Timmons; Mother, Rebecca Timmons; and Sister, Donetta Andrews.
