Donald Joseph Winkels

Donald Joseph Winkels, age 84, of Ballwin, Missouri passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024 in Ballwin, Missouri. He was born in Adams, Minnesota on January 30, 1940 to Arthur and Marcella Winkels (nee Retterath).

Don was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was a great provider, and was known for his one-liners. He was known for telling everyone "I'll see you in church if the windows aren't dirty", and "I'm a nice guy and if you don't believe me just ask me". Don was the most positive person his family ever met, and you couldn't help but be a more positive person just knowing him.

Don served his country with honor in the United States Army, and was a parishioner at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Manchester. He was a man of deep faith and had an abiding trust in God.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
