Donna Layton

Donna "D.J." Layton, age 74, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on October 16, 1948 to Carl and Mary Schuler (nee Fritts).

Donna is survived by her husband, Bob Layton; children, Angie (Troy) Reppert and Chad (Shannon) Layton; two grandsons, Zack (Kati) Bishop, and Kyle Layton; two granddaughters, Allie (Cody Goodwin) Bishop and Jocy Layton; great-grandson, Oliver Goodwin; and many loving nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Mary Schuler; five brothers, Bob Schuler, Carl Schuler, Charlie Schuler, Mike Schuler, and Russ Schuler; and two sisters, Mary Walters and Lois Edmonds.


Donna was involved with many things at All Saints Church, but especially with the ACTs group and the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Although not a member, she and her husband were active with the St. Peters Lions Club. She was also a 24 year member of the Fords Unlimited Car Club. In addition to all of her volunteer work for the church and those in need, she loved spending time crafting beautiful items that brightened every occasion! Donna was an avid Cardinals and Blues fan, but time with family was dearest to her heart.

To those who will be attending Donna's memorial services, the family encourages you to wear Cardinals or Blues attire or red or blue in lieu of.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the All Saints Chapter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society would be greatly appreciated.
