Doris Ellen "BJ" Aldrich, age 87, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 in Saint Charles, Missouri. She was born in Flint, Michigan on July 11, 1933 to Adren and Anita Brooks (nee Seymour).
BJ was strong in her faith. She was a minsters wife for 50+ years. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing at church. BJ loved spending time with her family, shopping with her girls, and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a huge baseball fan, and loved both the Cardinals and Cubs, much to Floyd's dismay.
BJ is survived by her daughters, Karen Sue (Mike) Smith, Patty A. (Ray) Heininger, and Vicky L. (George German) Aldrich; her grandchildren, Jo Ellen (Jon) Carey, Matthew E. (Breann) Heininger, Nathan A. (Molly) Heininger, Caitlyn R. (Nathan) Blessman, Benjamin T (Mary Belzer) Simorka, Jacob D. Simorka, and Meghan K. Simorka; her 6 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Gene (Sharon) Brooks. She will be dearly missed by many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years, Rev. Floyd D. Aldrich; her parents, Adren and Anita Brooks; and her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Joe Martin.
A private family service will take place at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions in Saint Peters, Missouri with Rev Keith Moore will officiating.
