Doris Mae Hellmann, age 95, of University City , Missouri passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023 in University City, MO. She was born in Bloomsdale, Missouri on September 18, 1928 to John and Isabelle Dietzfelbinger (nee Werner).
Doris was an avid gardener. She loved the flowers in her garden and could often be found playing in the dirt. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Doris was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Doris is survived by her Four Sons, Theodore J. (Sandy) Hellmann, Allen Hellmann of Florissant, MO, Don (Shelley) Hellmann, Carl (Nancy) Hellmann; Three Grandsons, Fred, Josh, Aaron; Four Granddaughters, Kate, Alecia, Sarah, Rebecca; Brother, John Dietzfelbinger; Ten Great-Grandchildren; Three Sisters, Betty (Terry) Fahnestock, Nelda (Tom) Riggins, Verna Wallis; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Isabelle Dietzfelbinger; Husband, Theodore H. Hellmann; Granddaughter, Lauren; Grandson, David; Three Sisters, Bonnie Green, Isabelle Coovert, Margie Scott; and Daughter-in-law, Jan Hellmann.
