Doris Rose Pisciotta, age 91, of Troy, Missouri passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2022 in Troy, Missouri. She was born in Murphysboro, Illinois on June 3, 1931 to Harry and Rosalie Murphy (nee Loy).
Doris loved her life, family, and cardinal baseball games - but most importantly, fried shrimp and chocolate cake!
Doris is survived by her step-daughters, Debora A. Bruyere, Carol J. Cowell, Barbara L. DeClue; step-son, Vincent J. Pisciotta; 11 nieces and 7 nephews, and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent A. Pisciotta; parents; sister, Amelia; and brothers, Harry, John, and Bill; and three nephews.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am with Funeral Ceremony following at 11:00 am Friday, January 6, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
