Dorothy Aubuchon, age 93, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 surrounded by her family. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 5, 1929 to Frank and Loretta Masnica (nee ).
She married Leonard Aubuchon on October 21, 1950, and they were married for 61 years.
Dorothy enjoyed making crafts and working in her flower gardens. She was very active with the Riverview Firemen Auxillary and Missouri Mules. Dorothy volunteered at Christian Northwest and Barnes Jewish Hospitals. She was very fond of her dogs, especially Lassie, Dutchess, Dusty, and Benji.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Diane (Glenn) Horstmann; son, Gary (Sandi) Aubuchon; son, Robert (Vicki) Aubuchon; son, Dan (Karen) Aubuchon; grandson, Steven T. (Theresa) Horstmann; grandson, Timothy M. (Heather) Horstmann; grandson, Christopher J. (Rebecca) Horstmann; granddaughter, Michelle M. (Matt) Rogers; granddaughter, Marci C. (Michael) Benigno; granddaughter, Nicole L. (Matt) Pashia; grandson, Nicholas R. (Kristin) Aubuchon; granddaughter, Amanda M. (Ned) Dolan; granddaughter, Carrie M. Cougill; grandson, Michael (Ashley) Cougill; grandson, Matthew R. (Kaylie) Aubuchon; grandson, Brian D. Aubuchon; twenty-six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard H. Aubuchon; parents, Frank and Loretta Masnica; sister, Lorraine Herold; brother, Bill Masnica; and two great-grandsons, Sebastian Horstmann and Daxton Dolan.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until 10:30 am with a funeral mass to take place at 10:30 am both on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 at Assumption Catholic Church, 403 N Main St, O Fallon, MO 63366. A graveside service will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery 12:45 pm. Those attending the cemetery service at Jefferson Barracks will need to meet at Sylvan Springs park at the corner of Sheridan Road and Boundary Road by 12:30 pm for a procession to Jefferson Barracks.
