Dorothy Carl, age 90, of Florissant, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 in Chesterfield, Missouri. She was born in McKenzie, Tennessee on October 26, 1933 to Clyde and Irene Chandler (nee Van Cleve).

Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Randy G. Carl (Vicki Brands), Debra A. (Michael) Deniszczuk, and Mark C. (Rhonda) Carl; treasured grandchildren, Matt (Heather) Deniszczuk, Greg (Shelly) Deniszczuk, Katie Carl, John (Bridget) Carl, Sydney Carl, Sean Carl, Dakota Jarosz, Leilani Jarosz, and Phoenix Jarosz; cherished great-grandchildren, Christopher Deniszczuk, Luke Deniszczuk, Alexander Deniszczuk, and Levi Deniszczuk; dear sisters-in-law, Mildred Chandler, Kathryn Talley, Neita Carl, and Brenda Carl; and a host of other family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herman C. Carl, Jr.; loving parents, Clyde and Irene Chandler; and dear brothers, Gerald (wife Mildred survives) Chandler, Neal (Janice) Chandler, and Ralph (Faye) Chandler.

Dorothy was known to family and friends as "Me-Ma", "Grandma Dot", or "Dottie". She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandma, great-grandma, sister, and friend to many. She is lovingly remembered for her great sense of humor, and warm and gracious nature. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.
