Dorothy L. Friebele, 98, of Saint Peters, Mo, passed away at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the Breeze Park Long Term Care facility, Saint Charles, Mo.
Dorothy was born on March 7, 1922 in Berrien Springs, Michigan to Edward and Melita (Zelmer) Schmalz. Preceding her in death were her two sisters, Mary Jones and Ruth Sellers, and two brothers Rudy Schmalz and Arthur Schmalz.
Dorothy married Henry Friebele on July 31, 1948 in South Bend, Indiana. He preceded her in death on October 8, 2008. Dorothy is survived by a son, John and his wife, Dorothy Friebele of Saint Peters, Mo; her two grand-children, Barbara Friebele and Michael Friebele and two great-grandsons, Thomas Kircher III and Clifford Ahern.
Dorothy will be laid to rest with her husband in Riverview Cemetery in South Bend, In.
