Dorothy H. Sauerwein

Dorothy Helen Sauerwein (nee Wiesler), age 93, passed away on Thursday April 9, 2020.
Dorothy is survived by three daughters, Judy (Mark) Edwards, Terry Wilson and Linda Long and one son Jerry (Deborah) Sauerwein; eight grandchildren; Becky (David) Hemmer, Jill McLaughlin, Jason Sauerwein, Tobe (Jenny) Wilson, Stacy (Terence) Cordes, Julie (Mike) Riefel, Jodie (Mike) Hedges, Sarah (Bill) Akridge; sixteen great grandchildren, and she will be dearly missed by a host of other family members and friends.
She will be remembered for her love of sports, family, and friends. She was always very involved at Salem Evangelical and Reformed Church where she served faithfully as a Sunday school teacher for over twenty-five years.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Wallace "Bud" Sauerwein, her parents Ferdinand and Theresa (nee Dachler) Wiesler, eight siblings, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A private graveside memorial service will be held at Friedens Cemetery. Due to current circumstances the family asks that you share your favorite memories and offer condolences at www.NewcomerStLouis.com.
