Douglas C. Foster, age 94, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Saint Peters, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 26, 1927 to Clem and Lena Foster (nee Schoeneshoefer).
Douglas is survived by his children, Sue (Gary Johnson) Buffa and Doug Foster, Jr.; granddaughter, Amarilis Jane Johnson; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clem and Lena Foster; brothers, Vernon (Harriet) Foster and Ralph (Bernadine) Foster; and sister, Helen (Clarence) Meyer.
Douglas was a very hardworking man, who enjoyed a career as a bricklayer that spanned over 50 years. He loved spending time outdoors, especially hunting, fishing, and farming. He also enjoyed playing cards with friends in his living community. Nothing gave him as much joy however, as time spent with his family. His granddaughter was the light of his life. Douglas was dearly loved, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
