Dr. J. Curry

Dr. Stephen J. Curry, age 51, of O'Fallon, Missouri passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023 in O'Fallon, Missouri. He was born in Tawas City, Michigan on June 13, 1972 to Robert and Kathleen Curry (Warzynski).

Stephen was an educator with Francis Howell School District. He was married to Sarah Curry for 26 years and they had four daughters together. Stephen grew up on his family's dairy farm in Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University where he received his undergraduate degree, and later received his Master's and Doctorate degrees from Lindenwood University. He was known by many as "Big Steve'' which was fitting for his tall stature of 6'6" and as an avid Michigan State Spartan fan.

Stephen was also known for standing strong in his Faith and his love for Jesus. Not only was he an educator, but a lover of the Word of God and all its teachings. His pride and joy were his girls, that he led in love, support, and his many farm stories. Stephen enjoyed helping and serving others. He was a loving husband, nurturing father, and a friend to all.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Sarah; four daughters, Jaden Curry, Faith Curry, Emma Curry, and Ailey Curry; two sisters, Colleen (Michael) Kelly and Kelley Curry; three brothers, Michael Curry, Mark (Karen) Curry, and Eric (Kelly) Curry; and a host of other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Neal Curry.

On Friday, August 11, 2023 a visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm with a memorial service following at 4:00 pm. The visitation and memorial service are being held at Life Church St. Peters, located at 8134 Mexico Road, St. Peters, MO 63376.
