Earl Frederick Solomon

Earl Frederick Solomon, age 80, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021. He was born in Kissee Mills, Missouri on October 31, 1940 to William and Juanita Solomon (nee Heilig).

Fred is survived by his wife, Diane (Zerjav) Solomon; his daughters, Dainta Jacobi and Sonia (Michael) Terbrock; his grandchildren, Tyler Jacobi, Remy Terbrock, Cody Terbrock, Ashley Jacobi and Tanner Jacobi; and his brother, Robert (Sue) Solomon. He will be dearly missed by many other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Juanita Solomon; his siblings, Jeanne (Ken) Steiner, Dixie Dorn and William (Melva) Solomon.

Fred and Diane were married on September 5, 1964 in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cottleville, Missouri. He worked for General Motors Electromotive Diesel Division, St. Louis, Missouri, rebuilding train engines, until 1990. Then he worked for General Motors, Automotive in Wentzville, Missouri, until 1996, when he retired. Fred continued to work by helping family, friends, and also helping Diane babysit in their home. Fred loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and especially telling stories and laughing. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and caring for his many dogs and cats. Fred was a friend to everyone he met and enjoyed helping others whenever and however he could. He will be missed so much by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm with a funeral service at 12:00 pm, both on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, St. Peters Chapel, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Interment will be private.
