Edie Marie Fields

September 5, 1940 — January 20, 2021

In Loving Memory of Edie Marie Fields.

Edie unexpectedly left her physical existence on January 20, 2021 in Saint Peters, Missouri. She was born September 5, 1940 in Albany, Oregon, and spent 80 awesome years with her family. She had an amazing life journey and was loved intensely.

She loved to surround herself with beautiful things, and she saw so much beauty in so many things. She always wanted to help everyone - no matter what problem they were trying to solve. She found a lot of pleasure cooking & caring for her extended family.

She was an artist at heart and had her own ceramic shop for years and loved to paint. She created hundreds of beautiful ceramic pieces owned by people all over the country. One of her amazing talents was making the eyes look alive and real when the ceramic piece had a face.

Her artistic nature carried over to her love of cooking, where she was never traditional because she always added her own special touch to all her creations! That said, her homemade bread and cinnamon rolls were prized. She was right at home growing her garden and her own organic food. She loved to can and preserve foods and was able to pass her knowledge on to a few people.

She will be greatly missed, the sweetest smile to warmest hugs, and that twinkle in her eyes when she was being ornery. We can't wait to see you on the other side, and what you have created there. You'll be in our hearts forever. So many loved you.

She is survived by her beloved daughter, Meshell (Bostwick) Little, (spouse Jim), her "baby sister" Juanita Fields. 3 grandchildren Travis Lee Harmon, (spouse Sheena), Jeremy Powers, Heather (Powers) Raby, (spouse Vince). Her 7 great-grandchildren: Ashton Harmon, Blaine Harmon, Zachary Harmon, Aubriana Raby, and Alivia Raby. Bonus grandchildren: Trevor & Khloe Watson.

She is preceded in death by her parents Eugene Leander Fields and Emma (Erner) Fields, her sister Georgia (Jeri ) Perez, and her brother Ronald Fields.

A Message To My Precious Mother: Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for showing me the purest & most unconditional love I've ever known. I'll hold you in my heart forever.
