Edward Brandt Mize

Edward "Ed" "Eddie" Brandt Mize, age 72, of Foley, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on August 28, 1945 to Edward and Gertrude Mize (nee Bowman).
Edward was a Carpenter with the Decorator and Carpenters Union Local 39, and loved cooking, woodworking, Cardinal's baseball, BBQ, family, boating and fishing on the river. Those who knew him best remember long conversations with Ed where he would both philosophize about the world and give his expert advice. He married the former Deborah Rountree on February 9, 2012 in Troy, Missouri.

Survivors include his Wife Deborah of Foley, MO; Daughter, Michelle Mize Kingsborough of O'Fallon, MO, Daughter, Robin Clark of Jacksonville, FL; Grandchildren, Katelyn Kingsborough, Kelsey Kingsborough, Kyle Perkins, and Kiersten Perkins; two great-grandchildren, Blake Edward Kingsborough and Bayler Gittemeier; and his Sisters, Sandy (Bill) Bennett of St. Louis, MO, and Janis (late Steve) Randman of St. Louis, MO.

Graveside Services, with military honors, will be 1:00 pm Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Services entrusted to Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, MO 63367.

Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Ed's late son in law, Larry Kingsborough, to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society via his sister (Barbara) who raises money every year for Leukemia research with the Teams in Training program. The link is below:
