Edward Robert Schinker, Sr.

Edward Robert Schinker, Sr., age 86, of St. Peters, Missouri passed away on April 14, 2018 at his residence. Bob was born on July 16, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Frank and Josephine (Heim) Schinker.
During his working career, Bob was a plant manager for Sinnett-Elpaco. He served in the United States Marine Corp, and while in the Marines, was decorated with the National Defense Ribbon for his service. He was also a former member of the American Legion and the St. Louis Paint Society.
Bob is survived by his son, Bob (Carie) Schinker, Jr. of St. Peters, Missouri; daughter, Mary K. O'Neal of White Oak, GA; grandson, Kenneth O'Neal; three granddaughters, Caitlin O'Neal, Nicole (Shaan) Ashraf and Danielle Schinker. He is also survived by his sister, Geraldine Schinker.
Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his two brothers, James and Frank Schinker.
A graveside service with military honors have been scheduled for Friday, April 27, 2018 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery with Fr. Ed Heim officiating.
