Edward Vincent Watson

Edward Vincent Watson, age 88, of Maryland Heights, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at home.
Edward is survived by his children, James Watson, John Watson, and Sandra (Mike Adams ) Mayfield; grandchildren Jade (Dylan ) Johnson, Amber Watson, Cole Watson, and Thomas Mayfield; siblings Donna (Bob) Ward and James (Kathy) Watson. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and a host of other family members.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years Regina Watson; parents Oliver and Irene Watson (nee Kuse); brothers Oliver Watson , Jr., Joseph Watson, and Robert Watson; and sisters, Irene Watson, Ethel Denton, and Rose Westlake.
Born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 21, 1933, Ed grew up in a family of nine children. He attended Holy Trinity School and graduated Class of 1948. He then went on to serve his country with honor in the United States Army. Upon returning from the service, Ed's love of baking led him to a 35 year career with Hostess Bakery. He continued his work with Hazelwood Farms, where he retired after 20 plus years of service.
Ed was a treasured father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his beloved feline friend, Fuzzy.
