Eileen Marie Kasden

Eileen Marie Kasden (nee Henderson), age 96, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 24, 1921 to the late James Arthur and Alvina Marie Henderson (nee Essenpreis). She was married to the late Harry G. Kasden for 55 years. She graduated from Central High School in 1939, became a licensed beautician and supported the war effort by making bullets at the small arms facility. Being a wife and mother filled her days and heart. She went on to manage the Jennings Elementary School Cafeteria until her first grandchild was born. Her hobbies included sewing, playing Canasta, quilting and gardening. Her travels took her to the mountains, beaches in the Caribbean and Sanibel Island.

Eileen is survived by her daughters, Pam McCoy and Sue Kimberlin; brother, William (Sue) Henderson; sister-in-law, Marjorie Eatherton; grandchildren, Kelly Maniaci, Kasey (Tony) Tumminello, Donna (Greg) Richardson, Mike (Jeannie) McCoy, Renee (John) Fuller, James (Karen) Clubb; great-grandchildren, Tim (Bridget), Molly, Cole, Christopher, Tyler (Kristen), Heather (Ricky), Dominic, Nikki, Austin, Justin, Daniel, Nathan and John; great-great-grandchild, Brayden, Ryleigh and Josiah and nieces, friends and neighbors.

Mass will be 10:00 am Friday, February 2, 2018 at All Saints Catholic Church 7 McMenamy Rd. St. Peters, MO 63376. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:00-10:00 am on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the church. Interment will be following the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in the chapel St. Louis, MO.
