Elvie E. Berrong

Elvie Earlin Berrong, age 95, of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. He was born in Arab, Missouri on January 15, 1928 to Marion and Stella Berrong (nee Walker).
Elvie was married to his wife, Eula, for 71 loving years. He proudly served in the U.S. Army with an honorable discharge in 1953. After serving his country, he worked for Cupples Products where he helped make the windows for the World Trade Center. He retired from there after 25 years. After retiring, to keep himself busy and out of Eula's hair, he worked for Clark Funeral Home, KMD Linen Service, and the local trash company. He was also a member and Deacon of Westside General Baptist Church (Breckenridge Hills). Although he was all of these things above, his proudest achievement was the role of Grandpa and PePaw. He took great pride in making sure his family was taken care of and knew God.
Elvie is survived by his Daughter, Sandra J. (Ricky L.) Duncan of Saint Charles, MO; Son, Randy E. Berrong; Grandson, Jeremy L. (Amanda L.) Duncan; Granddaughter, Cassidy M. Duncan; Two Great-Granddaughters, Madeline L. Duncan, Kiley M. Duncan; Great-Grandson, Sincere T. McDaniels; Sister, Neola M. Haynie; Sister-In-Law, Helen Berrong; and a host of other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Eula Marie Berrong; Father, Marion Odis Berrong; Mother, Stella May Berrong; Three Brothers, Eugene Berrong, Lowell E. (Christine) Berrong, Bobbie L. Berrong; and Brother-In-Law, Roy Haynie.
Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Monday, June 12, 2023 at St. Peters Chapel, Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376. Visitation will be Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at St. Peters Chapel. Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
