Emma Martin

November 27, 1949 — November 25, 2019

Emma "Sue" Martin, age 69, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away on Monday, November 25, 2019. She was born in Hayti, Missouri on November 27, 1949 to Earl and Renner Bell (nee Burns).

Without a question, she loved her family and her savior. She enjoyed riding her bike, cooking, reading her bible and hanging out with her family and friends. She changed her sheets every Thursday -- and assumed you should do the same. You never went to her house that she didn't demand you to eat something. She also never checked out at a store without a coupon and a price check -- she loved a good deal. Her legacy will be lived out in those who loved and adored her. This indescribable woman will never be forgotten.
Sue is survived by her husband, Glen Bruce Martin of Saint Peters, MO, daughters, Natalie (Chris) Hunt, and Kimberly (Matt) Dunlap, son, Glen (Hanae) Martin, three brothers, Ray, Leon and Jerry Bell, five grandchildren: Malorie (David) Watts, Kameron Dunlap, and Kyle, Andrew and Jonathan Hunt, and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a multitude of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Renner Bell, two brothers, Odell and Billy Bell, and two sisters, Dorothy Grissom and Rosalie Tull.

Visitation will be Monday, December 2, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at First Baptist Church Lake St Louis at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
