Erma M. Harden

Erma Mae Harden, age 89, of Saint Peters, Missouri passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 at her residence after an extended illness. She was born in St Louis, Missouri on October 25, 1928 as the daughter to Chi and Vesta (East) Stevens. Erma married Robert L. Harden on April 20, 1946.

After Erma and Robert moved to St. Peters 38 years ago, she continued her K-Mart career in O'Fallon, retiring with 33-years of service in 1993 as a personnel manager.

Erma is survived by her son, Lawrence Harden of Saint Peters, MO; daughter, Susan Padgett of Sauget, IL; two granddaughters, Lisa Anderson and Kimberly Harden, one great grandson, Guy Ceppenati; sister Norma Ratchford, brother, Leroy Stevens and sister-in-law Linda Stevens

Along with her parents, Erma was preceded in death by her three brothers, Donald Stevens, Richard Stevens and Delmar Stevens.

Memorial Service celebrating Erma's life will be conducted at 5:00 pm Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive, St. Peters, Missouri 63376 with Pastor Noel Stephens officiating. Erma's family will receive friends during a visitation from 2:00 pm until service time. A private family interment will follow at a later date.
