Essie Reithemeyer, age 101, of O Fallon, Missouri passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023 in O'Fallon, Missouri. She was born in Batesville, Arkansas on September 19, 1921 to James and Ethel Ducan (nee Neely).
Essie enjoyed spending her time hunting, fishing, and farming. Essie loved everything to do with being outside and gardening. Above anything else Essie loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Freewill Baptist for over 30 years.
Essie is survived by her Three Daughters, Sonja (Gary) Bauer, Bonnie (Robert) Lewis, Carol Ann (Gene) Johnson; 6 Grandchildren, Sherry, Bobby, Stephanie, Stacie, Kim, and Kelly; 11 Great-Grandchildren; 9 Great Great Grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, James and Ethel Duncan; 6 Siblings; and her loving Husband, Earl Reithemeyer.
